Meet the Mountainwood Construction team leader, David Wood. Quality craftsmanship is literally flowing through the veins of our founder. Dave was born and raised in Pendleton, Oregon, and learned construction by working at father’s construction company. Dave and his family moved to the valley in 2007, he opened his doors shortly after and has been providing quality construction and remodeling for over 20 years. Dave likes staying up to date with the latest home trends, improving his backswing, and working on his mad curling skills.

Meet our in-house counter top connoisseur, Krystal, she has an opinion or idea about all of them.  She’s around here somewhere with a venti latte and at least two laptops. And yes, she thinks this room needs more light- maybe a whole wall of windows….

Bookkeeper

Eva is our globe trading bookkeeper who brings a great work ethic and a dry funny sense of humor in everyday with her morning coffee. When she’s not skiing with her son, she creates spreadsheets that are a work of art. Eva also earned her Girl Scout badge in patience for all the hours she spent talking to the Quickbooks Tech Team in the last year. She also likes a good laugh and a nice lager.

Starbucks in one hand, plans in the other, Bill is one of our Superintendents who has scheduling down to a science. Whether he is hand drawing the latest set of plans himself or looking into the latest hangar doors to install in a residential build, Bill has all answers that no one else can come up with.

Services Manager

Matt is handy which makes him the perfect Manager of our Service Department. He loves to fix things, hang things, and solve household problems and he does it all with country boy charm and smiles. If he mentions any of his 4 Runners, politely ask to see pictures, as he lovingly repaired and cared for them down to the tie rods. Matt is also a closet dog whisperer, who likes ice cream and providing dog training tips. Give him a call, he can repair your bathroom faucet and hang a new garage door while teaching your schnauzer to sit.

If the radio is on, you know Raymundo is at work. He loves to work and is truly an expert at staining woods to highlight the natural beauty within and painting both interior and exterior surfaces with the greatest of care. Raymundo has been with us nearly 10 years and is the happiest guy on the crew-he always has a smile to share.

"I have engaged Mountainwood Construction for a variety of projects, of all sizes, for nearly 10 years. The largest undertaking was to carve a master bathroom and walk-in closet out of a very small bathroom and a portion of the master bedroom. The project included demolishing the existing bathroom, removing a window and framing out a new wall.
